A sustainable digital fashion workshop and lab exploring the intersection of fashion and XR through using new creative technologies and software. Finally, using international distribution channels and exhibition platforms, the lab facilitates access to new markets for sustained livelihoods.
2 . 1 Virtual World Prototype
Proof Of Concept Videos
The virtual world/showroom created with Unity3D for Monaverse. Mona is a web-based decentralised platform that allows creators to build, mint, and sell metaverse worlds as an NFT. An afro futuristic inspired virtual world hosting my designs within a showroom space, from flying taxis to Lesotho and Cape town mountainous landscapes. Different buildings represent the start and end of my design process. From pattern-making, garment construction to shoe sourcing, to express efforts in being as honest with my process as best as possible.
Virtual world built by Baso from Sisanda Tech. Digital avatars designed to imitate the real models facial features and structures. The digital garments rendered through CLO3D then transferred into Unity3D for inclusion into the virtual world.

A unique process to the design process as it plays an advantage for me understanding shape and fit awareness as well as experimenting with Zero waste design philosophies and methods from Holly Mcquillan’s Zero Waste Fashion Design book and adapting Liz Hoywood’s innovative Zero Waste patterns.
